It's o-vah.
Well yes, the title says it all. We finally ended off three weeks of (torment? slavery? menial labour?) hard work with a bang - and boy, what a show it was. It lived up - or rather, surpassed - all expectations I'd had, and honestly, from a group of which majority had never performed on stage in their lives, it was fantastic. I had a good time too, and I must say I've learnt a great, great deal from the parties I worked with.
A few words for er, people.
Alex - I would say a lot here, but you don't read my blog, so.
Margaret - Well... you don't read my blog either.
Ok this idea is doomed to failure.
But anyway just as the fanfare from Sinatra's reprise had to die down, the euphoria of the moment had to fade away, and now we're left with routine school work again. It's three more weeks till the end of school, and I do hope I can live through the next week - project presentations/deadlines galore.
For now though, a lengthy period of sleep is in order. I've been running on nothing more than caffeine these past 2 days in particular, having had 13 servings of coffee within the last 36 hours. Goodness, I've just realised how absurd that is lah. I've found out too, that coffee can't cure all sleepiness. Kiwi Vodka, however, does induce it, and I'm glad I've got some in my system now to keep me soundly asleep tonight. No alarms, for once!
