Schick. Me, not the razor.
It being a holiday and since I'm forbidding my self to study till Peiyan forces me to, I went out for a bit of dinner at Holland V. today. With Boons, of course. Err, nothing vaguely interesting to say about it, except that I got my parking lot within like, 5 minutes, which is quite comparable to striking the lottery at your first try. That, or having a bird crap on your head while you're walking on the street. Oddly enough though, I've had that happen to me too, but the lottery seems to keep evading me...
Anyway, afterward we made our way down to Mount Faber to look-see at what'd happened to the area, what with all the news about its grand opening etc etc. And then, since we were there already, we for some reason decided to take a cable car ride in one of them "glass cabin" cable cars. Glass cabins sound cool? No. It was pretty much a farce, and the glass, other than the windows which every other normal cable car has, looked pretty frosted to me. In other words, not worth the extra $4.10.
Of course, then there was the view. It was shite. While everything looks really nice from the Altivo, it doesn't look quite as impressive from the cable car. Well maybe it'd all look nicer in the day, but who takes the cable car in the day, anyway?
If there were to be one lasting image from my cable car ride though, it would be this:

The view from the top
Fab, isn't it?
Anyway not to say the night was crap lah, at least I had good company *grin*.

On another totally different point, I simply cannot comprehend why one would choose to watch an American comedy over a Brit comedy. I mean, the Brits invented comedies! There's no denying the quality in (almost) every single Brit comedy ever made.
I would go into all the technicalities, like comparing the US version of The Office with its Brit counterpart, and the same for other British imports like Coupling, but it's really too obvious to bother with.
Anyway the whole point of writing all this is so that I can have a reason to go on to my main point of the post - I've always wanted to tell a person to the face "You're shite". But well, never had, prolly never will have the chance.
