To Sony or not to Sony.

Well, if you really MUST know what's been going on with my terribly exciting life, the past few days have involved a highly exhilirating search... for my new laptop. Sure sends the pulses racing, doesn't it?

Anyway my search has been extensive, and I have considered all factors which all laptop shoppers must consider as important in making their decisions, not least of all, how pretty the laptop is. Erm, yeah.

Long story short, I've now narrowed down my search to Chio Notebook no. 1, and Chio Notebook no. 2. Confused? Not to fear, I've pictures!

The Sony Vaio S48. How could you possibly resist a notebook THIS PRETTY?

The Asus W3V. It's far, far better looking in real life, I assure you. You can't really see the brushed aluminium surface (drool) from the picture.

And in case you haven't yet realised, YES I AM A GEEK.

But a very choosy one.

So if anyone's vaguely interested in helping me make a choice, let me know and I'll promptly drown you with the specs and prices and pros and cons of each choice, and assuming you don't kill me in a knee-jerk reaction, you could then help me (a little) in deciding.

But, you ask, what benefits come with helping Weiming?
Ah, the benefits are many, though immaterial and not tangible. For instance, you will have my complete and utter gratitude. Such things are hard to come by nowadays. If you wish, you may also request for a nice kiss (satisfaction guaranteed). However, if you are a good-looking female, this is compulsory. If you are a male, this option is not available.

OK but jokes aside, I really need help. This is like choosing between Heidi Klum and Angelina Jolie for a wife. They're both really good looking, are pretty hot when turned on, don't have that good a memory, have nice curves and well, don't really mind ugly husbands.
(but I was only half joking about the good-looking female option)

But enough already about all things short-sighted and geeky. The weeks ahead hold much campish activities, and I'm probably going to be somewhat not around.

In other news, I cra-a-a-a-a-a-ve for more Ma La Huo Guo. And raw beef. And Crab Powder Xiao Long Bao. I do, however, appreciate that while we don't have such good food, we do have very nice, un-hairy women here. Don't get it? Next time you pay a visit to China, open your eyes and, erm, don't keep looking upwards.

Oh, also, if you ever get the chance, do watch Mar Adentro (The Sea Inside). It's an excellent movie, if having to read the subtitles does take some of its appeal away. If you don't yet know who to borrow it from, you must not have known me for very long.
