Not the most exciting post ever.

Just a little update. Laptop's yet to be bought! Waiting for some good lobangs to appear, preferably not under my feet (hur. hur. hur.).

Anyway have been moderately busy the past 2 days with this new program I've signed up for. I actually think it's pretty worthwhile; A little background, SMU requires its students to clock 80 hours of community service during their 4 years in the school. So during matriculation there're hoards of comm service groups lining the corridors pimping their own projects. Basically their selling point's always "Complete your 80 hours before school starts!" or "Save time on travelling with flexible plan!" or "Live nude girls this way!". But I really don't need the hours since I'm probably going to be going with my church on the (hopefully) yearly mission trip, which can (hopefully, again) be used in the computation of community service hours. Long story short (wasn't very... short, was it), I looked for the projects that had the most meaning.

Anyway so this project that I've been involved with recently's some E-Mentoring thing. Basically they get kids from secondary schools to take part in online forums and then we as E-Mentors try and impart values to them, and guide them along the right track in life.

Sounds slack eh? But honestly you'd be astounded by the effect the internet has on these kids. I truly believe that us E-Mentors can really make a huge difference to many of them.

Anyway, not content with doing a long distance relationship-ish thing, I also signed up for another mentoring program which would involve personal interaction. But that's going to start 2 weeks from now, so there's another thing to look forward to.

Oh yeah, for those who I haven't talked to in the past 3 months, I'm going to SMU.

Then again, those who I haven't talked to in the past 3 months, if you read this blog, please do leave your mark here. I'm really interested to see who my stalkers are.

I'm seriously bored. So bored, you couldnt possibly bore me any more, not even with a drill. (ya, I know, I already used that on my MSN nick. I like it. So sue me.)

Erm, and for those who're interested, I'm off to orientation camp next week. Tuesday to Thursday. So Friday to Sunday's free. Start getting your queue numbers.

OK this is seriously the most boring post EVER. So if you're still reading this up to this point, you must really have nothing to do. Or you really do love me. (erm, send me a photo if you're female and this applies to you)
Ahem. Anyway, nothing much else. I'll try and be more interesting tomorrow, I promise. Till then, Good night.
