Before I left I mentioned a new show on WB, Beauty and the Geek. It's, quite simply put, AWESOME. The 2nd ep just screened and I'm already hooked. I wish they'd just start screening it in Singapore already.
One thing the show's producers must have got wrong though must have been their selection of some of the participants. One "geek" in question looks like he might be the lovechild of Tom Cruise and Tony Almeyda (from 24, can't remember his real name). Not surprisingly though it didn't take too long for him to hook up with one of the girls there. Unfortunately for him though, his partner was really, one of the mistakes as far as it came to girl selection.

There you have, Brad, the nerd who lifts weights 3 times a week, and Krystal, who somehow dances for the 76ers.
There are also the extreme couples like the one below:

Richard is the quintessential geek, the kind you'd expect to see on TV playing the geek role. And he even acts the part! I wouldn't be half surprised to learn that he's actually a hired actor brought in to play the part. Mindi on the other hand is totally, absolutely, drop-dead H-O-T. I'm totally just waiting for Brad to pick up the guts to put the moves on Mindi (who, by the way, is also waiting to enter University, so doesn't really qualify for the bimbo tag either).
The remaining couples really just occupy the middle ground. The guys are really nerdy in their habits and hobbies but really look pretty fine, and the girls are just pretty above average looking girls (with the exception of Lauren) who're really quite air-headed too (brings to mind girl who spelled tattoo, "T-A-T-O-O").
It's really an awesome show and it's a pity Eric got eliminated in the first round since he's like the nicest guy in the world, and looks like he might be really good looking given a makeover.
