i really have nothing much to say
but since ting requested an update(and might i add, very sensibly placing that request on comment on a post more than a week old, only discoverable by some freak chance), i guess i was meant to find that comment then, so i'll just conjure something up
anyway, finally, an overseas trip that doesnt look like it's gonna cancel itself is being planned. currently we have 3 lonely guys in a 4-man room, so if there's anyone who wants to fill up that gap, let me know ya.
meanwhile, for the first time in i think 3 months, i went for a run. needless to say, it was painful. very, very painful. i seem to find new ways to torture myself all the time, and recently the method of choice has been interval training. well, it's mainly because i hate, loathe, detest running such that i can't really stand the thought of having to do it for more than half an hour at a go. interval training just intensifies the suffering so that i only have to do it for, well, about half an hour. but it sure hurts a hella lot more! well it's gotta hurt, to negate the effects of all that ben & jerry's (and sitting on my bum playing with my xbox all - and i do mean ALL - day long).
so anyway, the highlight of the week so far (actually it's the ONLY happening of the week so far) was my 2nd round interview with smu. well it's probably the weirdest interview i've ever been in, mainly because of the gender imbalance. it was a group interview/discussion thing, and my particular group had 11 people in it. among the 11 people, 1 guy. how skewed is that? upon walking into the waiting room and seeing 8 girls sitting there, my first thoughts were that someone had secretly signed me up for the pilot season of "Eye for a Girl", or something. but sad to say, it wasnt so, nor would i be the new Joe Millionaire. nonetheless, the interview went all right i guess, and my neverending dilemma that is my course of choice has still not been decided.
it's really pretty amazing how i've spent the last 2 months doing absolutely -nothing-. i mean, i've done productive things, like read, and exercise, and erm, eat, but other than those i've basically just spent my time completing computer games (i'm on my 2nd round with one at the moment). someone, give me something to do, PLEASE! and if it comes with money, EVEN BETTER! my money resources are really running low, and with a holiday and a mission trip on the horizon, it sure looks like the kitty's about be emptied quite a substantial bit.
oh, and i somehow managed to get an interview with the law econs double degree thing, even with it as my 2nd choice. now, someone give me a really good reason why i want to read law at nus, because i've got to write that down in a form, and the only reason i can really think of (it's true, too!) is that i sorta kinda felt that it'd perhaps be fun if i did. dont think that's gonna work, eh?
and, i really really really do hate runny noses.
