good day.
been a reasonably good day today, here's why:
1. got a place in smu's double degree program ([EDIT]and they just called me to say i've made it to the next round of interviews for their scholars program. good week indeed.)
2. got shortlisted for medicine
3. got a pretty decent haircut
4. finally, finally got a bag to replace that one with 5 holes (first time buying a bag in 5 years!)
5. got a new pair of soccer boots to replace the stolen pair (and they're a pretty good pair too, quite a steal)
6. got to see far east plaza engulfed (sorta) in smoke, after some shop encountered a mini fire problem
7. george bush didnt bomb my house by "accident"
8. best of all, i'm still alive
anyway yeah, it's all pretty good. add to that that the singapore sevens are up this weekend, and the knowledge that veronica mars got renewed for a second season, it looks like it's gonna be a pretty good week overall.
anyway, is anyone interested in going for (and perhaps accompanying me to) a couple of performances at the singapore arts fest? i'm pretty interested in the performances by the Bang on a Can All-Stars and The Gogmagogs. tickets aren't THAT expensive, so if you'd fancy a night with quirky, enjoyable music, with a good-looking (sic) date, do give me a buzz!
oh then again, scrap the first group, just realised i'll prolly be in indonesia then. but i'm still keen on the second one!
woohoo! singapore sevens! can't wait!
