and we are none the wiser for it
i know, i know, this place has seen too little action recently. i've just been lazy, and well, occupied with my xbox. downloaded games rock, yall. free, and every bit as tasty. if i've not replied to any messages recently, forgive me, for i have been far too engrossed in my quest to become a jedi knight.
anyway as some of you might already know, i just went for my wisdom tooth extraction on wednesday. now this was no normal wisdom tooth extraction. firstly, all 4 wisdoms were coming out. secondly, i had a molar which hadn't grown out AND was blocking one of my wisdoms, so that was coming out too. and finally, my wisdoms were pretty deep in, but since the SAF would pay for the operation, with typical singaporean glee i went for my free operation. well 3 days on, and i still bear somewhat of a resemblance to a hamster. i have however, devised ways and means to eat ice cream, so i'm not missing out that much, really! but meat still poses a problem (seeing how i can't close my mouth!) so i've had to deal with that. and on the topic of not being able to close my mouth, it's really not everyday that you bite on your cheeks everytime you close your mouth.
and the worst/best thing about the operation? well i'm not supposed to drink alcohol/smoke/exercise/eat hot or cold food/eat hard things for the next 9 days (since when do people get MCs that long for wisdom extractions!). so really i've been given the license to laze. how awesome is that?
but enough talk about a boring topic already, we should really move on to more interesting subjects, like... other people's lives maybe? march is here and birthdays are abound. belated but certainly very heartfelt birthday wishes go out to taopok and jane. so now then, whose birthday is it we see on the horizon? could it be, is it he?
also, if anyone's still been wondering why Creative will never win the mp3 player war with Apple, it's really quite simple. apart from the fact that Creative makes fugly mp3 players, and Apple makes totally cool ones, you'll just have to look at their respective Chairmen to understand why Apple has the 'cool' factor. steve jobs looks amazingly good for his age, while sim wong hoo looks... well, somewhat like the uncle i just saw on the mrt, except that the uncle didnt try to look cool.
